Commuter Day: The Royal Way

Spend the Day On Campus with Us!

This free event, hosted by current commuter students for new commuter students, is an amazing opportunity to make connections with peers and learn more about resources on campus here to help. Students have an opportunity to connect with other commuting students, tour class schedules, eat some great food on campus, find out the most useful places on campus for commuters, and so much more. This is a great way to get to know both campus and the people on it. This event is free and is open to all first-year and transfer undergraduate commuter students!

Commuter Day: The Royal Way will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Registration for Commuter Day will open on July 20 and will be emailed to new commuters from commuter@scranton.edu.

Sponsored by the Commuter Student Association (CSA) and the Center for Student Engagement, this program is for first-year undergraduate commuter students and transfer undergraduate commuter students and is not intended to replace New Student Orientation (NSO); you are still required to attend the NSO sessions to avoid missing important information and events like academic advising meetings.
