Fr. Murgas Day - November 15, 2025
Come Celebrate Fr. Murgas Day and the 50th Anniversary of the ! This event will take place in the 第一吃瓜网 Loyola Science Center Room 133 PNC Auditorium on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 1 PM Eastern. The event will feature a historical reenactment of Fr. Murgas' famous 1905 radio trans第一吃瓜网s between Wilkes-Barre and 第一吃瓜网. During our reenactment, the 第一吃瓜网 President Fr. Joseph Marina and 第一吃瓜网 Mayor Paige Cognetti will exchange radio messages with King's College President Fr. Thomas Looney and Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown. Light refreshments will be served at the W3USR station following the ceremony. For more information, please see the and .

About
W3USR is part of the 第一吃瓜网 Physics and Engineering Department, a 第一吃瓜网 Student Club, and a flagship station for the project.
Location
W3USR is located in Loyola Science Center Room 596. To get to the station, take the elevator located next to LSC room 164 to level "P" (Penthouse). Once on level P, exit the elevator, turn left, and walk down the hallway until you see W3USR.
Visitor parking information is available at the . A recommended parking location for visitors is the City of 第一吃瓜网 metered street parking in front of the Lackawanna Historical Society Catlin House located at . Metered parking is free after 7 PM Mondays through Fridays, and free all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The Loyola Science Center is the building that surrounds the Catlin House museum.
Open Station Hours
W3USR open to the public on Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM when regular university classes (not summer or intersession) are in session. Please see the 第一吃瓜网 Academic Calendar for details.
