Kaitlyn Clarke, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BCS-CL

Kaitlyn A. Clarke, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, was named Assistant Professor in the department of Occupational Therapy/Communication Sciences and Disorders. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a specialization in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and child language, from Pennsylvania State University. She also holds a post-graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Joseph's University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Misericordia University. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Child Language through the American Board of Child Language and Language Disorders and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has held a variety of positions in the field of speech-language pathology, most recently serving as Assistant Professor at Marywood University. She has also served as an instructor and clinical supervisor at Pennsylvania State University and Misericordia University. Clinically, she has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and complex communication needs across settings including early intervention, private practice, and clinical research at Geisinger's Autism and Developmental Medicine Institute.
