Weinberg Memorial Library 2015 Bonnie W. Oldham Library Research Prize Winners
The Weinberg Memorial Library is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Bonnie W. Oldham Library Research Prize.
Graduate Prize
An Occupational Therapy major with a minor in Counseling and Human Services, Paula Annunziato was selected as the 2015 Library Research Prize winner. In her , she mentions that she would not have been able to complete her project, “,” without the “staff and the resources of the Weinberg Memorial Library.”
An Honorable Mention was awarded to a group of Physical Therapy majors, Antonietta Bruno, Meghan Durney, Carol Mastrosante, and Caitlin Thompson, for a project that they completed for Scientific Inquiry III.
Undergraduate Prize
April Francia, a Political Science and Philosophy double major and History minor, was the judges’ choice to win the 2015 Library Research Prize for undergraduate students. The project that she submitted, “,” was her Honors Thesis. As a work-study student in the Weinberg Library, she inventoried University scrapbooks, which she said in her was the inspiration for her topic.
The judges selected Christine Panzitta and Alannah Caisey, who wrote about how they used the library to complete their Honors Theses, and a group consisting of Dennis Cho, Rachel Conniff, Alexandra Crowley, Lauren Krasucki, Erik Meyer, Kaitlin Mulroy, and Christina Nowack, who detailed how they used library resources to complete a research proposal Research Methods in Exercise Science, to receive Honorable Mention awards.
Prize winners were honored at a reception on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the Heritage Room of the Weinberg Memorial Library.
