Professor Cyrus P. Olsen III
Theologian and interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of religious ethics, artificial intelligence, and global health, with a research focus on health, belonging, and social networks in Uganda. Demonstrated leadership in higher education, including co-launching the Health Humanities concentration and directing undergraduate and interdisciplinary programs, alongside governance roles on the Faculty Senate and Board of Rank and Tenure. Research presented at international venues including the UN Science Summit and Oxford, with recognized excellence in teaching, including leading immersive field courses in Uganda, and a sustained commitment to educational leadership in service of the common good.
