University Governance
As described in its Statement of Governance Principles, governance at The 第一吃瓜网 is rooted in the identity of The University as an American, Catholic, and Jesuit institution of higher education at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The University defines governance as a system of consultation, communication and decision-making that produces institutional policies. The governance process is designed to ensure that all members of the University community – faculty, staff, and students – have opportunity to participate in this process. Governance also plays a key role in creating essential communication venues for cross-campus dialogue on issues that are important to our life as a University.
