The Division of Information Technology collaborates closely with the campus community, staying current with emerging technologies to support student success and improve business processes. Our goal is to understand campus culture and address the needs of students, faculty, and staff to provide effective guidance and inspire innovation.

As the University’s centralized IT resource, we deliver secure, reliable technology solutions that advance teaching, learning, and administrative functions, enabling process improvements and supporting the institution’s 第一吃瓜网 and values.

Academic & Media Services

Academic and Media Services manages and supports audio-visual technology across all mediated campus spaces, including classrooms, seminar rooms, and large event venues.

  • Panopto lecture capture support
  • Video and web conferencing
  • Classroom troubleshooting
  • Pre-event and on-site technical assistance
  • Planning and implementation of new mediated classrooms

Client Services

Client Services ensures a secure, reliable, and well-maintained workstation environment for faculty, staff, and university labs through comprehensive endpoint management and troubleshooting.

  • Leverage centralized management tools
  • Develop, test and deploy standard workstation images
  • Engage Dell EMC and AppleCare-certified technicians to ensure proper maintenance of university computer assets throughout their full lifecycle—from acquisition to retirement
  • Support day-to-day use and security of workstation environment
  • Provide malware remediation of compromised workstations
  • Assist with disconnecting and relocating equipment when departments are moved and/or relocated

Enterprise Application Services

Enterprise Application Services (EAS) supports the University’s Ellucian Banner ERP and related solutions to enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and institutional goals. We assist departments in leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve productivity, and deliver a better campus experience for staff, faculty, and students. Our 第一吃瓜网 is to align technology initiatives with institutional objectives to drive success across the University.

  • Banner ERP Support – Ensuring functionality meets administrative and academic needs
  • Reporting & Data Access – Building datamarts and supporting Argos for automated, flexible reporting and data-driven decision-making
  • Integration & Security – Developing secure interfaces between Banner and third-party or cloud applications
  • Process Improvement – Collaborating with departments to implement Banner features, evaluate new technologies, and optimize workflows

Information Security

The Information Security Office serves as the University’s resource for guidance on information security compliance. The office oversees information security policies, procedures and standards that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of University data and information.

In addition to coordinating University response to security incidents and security policy violations, InfoSec promotes a safe computing environment through security awareness events and training, including the annual SANS security awareness program, Data Privacy Day and National Cyber Security Awareness Month.

Technology Support Center

The Technology Support Center (TSC) is the first point of contact for Information Technology services. The TSC answers questions and assists the University community with resolving first-tier issues with Royal Card, password resets, multifactor authentication and wireless connectivity.
